"The Soap Box: Reel Talk for Real People" provides a true democratic voice for people to hear and express opinions and views regarding issues that plague our society. Issues are addressed that the overall church is either unequipped to handle or simply refuse to discuss. The producer of "The Soap Box" desires to bring people together to allow communication to take place in order to understand and appreciate various viewpoints. Guests are able to express amusement, share ideas, dialogue and debate in real time in the studio as well as through state-of-the-art video conferencing techniques.

Requests to be a guest or to engage in the video conference discussions for the 3rd Quarter of 2010 will begin on June 20, 2009. The closing date is
July 14 at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
Requests for the month of July will initiate on June 27 and will close on July 17, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
You may submit your request at any time within the reservation window. All requests have an equal chance of being selected. Slots will be filled by a random selection process.
Studio guests must be able to travel to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area. Video conference guests are not restricted to a given geographical location. However, English must be your primary language. You must must be a least 18 years of age for consideration to be granted.
